From a Band 2 role in medical records to Portfolio Director, Jason has built his NHS career by understanding workforce systems from the inside out. With experience across operational, managerial and People roles, he brings a practical understanding of how workforce processes shape day-to-day working life.
Today, Jason leads NHS Neuron, helping transform how NHS organisations manage and support their people through innovation, collaboration and digital solutions.
Jason said: "I've worked in many different roles and seen first-hand how differently organisations operate, even when they're only 20 minutes apart. Within the same trust, disconnected workforce systems can turn simple tasks into jobs that take three or four times longer than they should."
"Experiencing that frustration is exactly why I'm so passionate about what we're doing with NHS Neuron. Our values come from real experience, having done the jobs, worn the T-shirts and knowing things can be better."
With Neuron, Jason is focused on leading the team who are simplifying, standardising, automating and consolidating workforce solutions so teams can spend more time with people and less time on process.
Jason added: "We're also working across systems so staff can move more easily between organisations without unnecessary barriers."
