Meet Jade, Neuron's Portfolio Manager, whose work is shaped by a deeply personal commitment to improving the NHS. Ten years ago, Jade experienced the devastating loss of her first child, Freya. That experience became a catalyst for her determination to help create meaningful, lasting change from within.
Jade said: "People often say the NHS needs to change, but real progress only happens when someone is willing to do things differently. In Neuron, we work alongside HR teams to help create that change. Flexi Bank saved over £5 million pounds in its first year by challenging the norm, and our digital work has the same potential by reducing administrative burden and giving our workforce the time and space to focus on patients."
Jade brings over 20 years of NHS experience to her role, having worked across corporate governance, communications and project management. As Portfolio Manager, she acts as a bridge between leadership, delivery teams and stakeholders.
Jade ensures work across Neuron's portfolio aligns with strategic goals, balances resources effectively and manages progress and risk, all with a clear focus on delivering meaningful impact for patients and our teams.
"I believe in being the change you want to see," Jade said. "During my second pregnancy, I saw how small, thoughtful interventions can make a profound difference. Something as simple as a rainbow sticker on my notes, a quiet signal to staff acknowledging our loss, transformed the care I received. It showed me that meaningful improvement often starts with small changes, supported by the right systems."
